Member Programs

As part of an electric cooperative, you have access to numerous programs and benefits offered exclusively by PRVEPA.  The range of programs are diverse and include information about energy efficiency, safety and youth programs promoting leadership and education.  Please take some time to familiarize yourself with the programs below.

Youth Leadership Program- At PRVEPA we believe our youth are our future.  Our Youth Leadership Program helps area students become leaders in their communities.  Learn more about the program and how to apply. Please check out our brochure for information on how to apply.

Round Up for Education- Since beginning in 2012, more than 1600 students have been awarded scholarships to Mississippi community colleges.  Our Round Up program provides educational opportunities to members, their children and spouses.  To apply for a scholarship, fill out the application and return it to your local office or mail it to Pearl River Valley Electric,  P.O. Box 1217, Columbia, MS 39429, Attn. Scholarship Application.

Scholarship Program- Scholarships are awarded through the Electric Cooperatives of Mississippi to juniors and seniors who are enrolled in engineering programs.  Please contact Donna Richmond at richmond@ecm.coop for more information.

Comfort Advantage Program- The Comfort Advantage Program offers financial incentives for homeowners who are building new homes or renovating existing homes for greater energy efficiency.  Comfort Advantage is a recognized standard for energy efficient construction and quality products for the home.
